NGSS BIO A ILC Tri1
In biology, students study a variety of life processes and learn how different organisms meet the challenges of living in their environment. Major biological concepts include homeostasis, energy transfer and use, the relationship between structure and function, and change over time. Students may also observe and/or participate in hands-on scientific laboratory activities. ILC students will participate in modified standard science curriculum, both as presented in N2Y approved curriculum and in modifications provided by Mr. Plemmons, who is certificated in Middle Math and Science, which includes 9th grade science.
This class is graded on participation, not academic understanding of each topic. To show this is not a college ready science credit, students will receive Pass or No Credit at the end of the trimester.
