Course Syllabus
Enduring Understanding: Students develop an understanding of WA State by analyzing the history of groups of people, including Indigenous persons, and the interactions of these groups with geography, government, and economy since time immemorial.

1: Local Geography & Economy

2: Since Time Immemorial

2B: Tribal sovereignty and why it matters (C 3.3)
3: Social Movement
3A: Immigrant Experiences (H 2.3)
3B: Responsibilities and our power to create change (C 4.3)
Grading Guidelines: What are the criteria for an acceptable response?
Each assessment prompt is highlighted in GREEN in the assignment directions.
- Students should make a genuine attempt of all six assessments
- Student responses for each task can be one of the following options:
- Verbal (video)
- Written (creative or traditional)
- Visual (Infographic)
- Student responses should, at a minimum, contain the elements of CER: Claim, Evidence, Reasoning
