COURSE DESCRIPTION

Designed for female students interested in their strength and conditioning. This course introduces fundamental resistance techniques and movements incorporated in machine and free-weight resistance training and body-weight conditioning programs. Students will follow a structured program designed to improve and enhance fitness, muscular endurance, and strength. This course has been developed to give female students the opportunity to learn weight training concepts and techniques used to obtain optimal physical fitness. Students will be introduced to the fundamental concepts necessary to successfully create a fitness plan.
