This course builds upon previous intensive instruction in reading comprehension strategies, literature analysis and analytic writing, by beginning to develop and analyze a variety of texts and engage in collaborative discussions to look at multiple perspectives. Students research and analyze author's craft to develop their own writing.
Resources include: EDGE textbook (available in print and on line), trade books (available in the library and in the classroom).
