- Yearbook is both a class and a club where students work together to make the school yearbook! It is an entirely student lead class where you get to use your creativity everyday.
- You get to create something that lasts a lifetime and leaves a legacy.
- You make great friends and you get to learn so much about you fellow classmates and the Hazen community.
- You play with photography, graphic design, interviewing, and leadership skills every day.

Deadlines
- 9/21: Paper page plan—module, story ideas, and plan for what quotes you need (plan 4-6 modules per double page spread). Every spread needs a dominant photo, main headline, long story, and shorter stories or quotes (25 points)
- 9/27: Rough pages on Yearbook Ave (modular layer only), first 25 quotes/ main interviews, first 25 photos due to The Google Drive— This is the deadline that keeps you on track and gets the materials your writers, page designers and editors need. (25 points)
- 9/29: Rough Pages (begin content layer) with first photos and headlines due on Yearbook Avenue; begin drafting stories
- 10/4: Remaining quotes and photos due; Rough cover and endsheets due
- 10/5: Rough draft of stories are due (first edit circle with editors and story writers); Final Draft of content layer due Yearbook Avenue (without the story until it gets final approval)---All photos and quotes are on the page; (second edit circle with editors and story writers)
- 10/9-10/10: Page finalizing process—Editor work nights—Pages must go through a final approval process using the magic checklist to be checked in and complete
- 10/12-10/13: Final Cover and end sheets due
