AVID stands for Achievement Via Individual Determination. This is a class designed to support you in identifying your academic and personal goals, adjusting to the high school digital learning environment, and increasing collaboration skills.

Late/Missing Work:

ALL assignments listed weekly are due at the end of the week, Friday.  This allows me to grade assignments over the weekend.  Please do your best to complete assignments on time, so that you don't fall behind.

Grading Scale:

All assignments are graded using a scale of 1-5 points.  

1= did not turn the assignment in or shows no understanding of the material or did not meet the standard.

2= understanding the foundational material, still working to master concepts and skills.

3= demonstrates proficiency of the material.

4= demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the material.

5= demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the material and completes advanced applications.
