Welcome to Guitar! 

This class is designed for beginner guitar players to learn the skills needed to become well-rounded musicians. 

We will cover a multitude of music concepts but all will relate to guitar specifically. We will discuss music theory, history, technology, pedagogy, and of course guitar skills and practice. 

I plan on using the following schedule:

Monday: Guitar skills and practice

Tuesday: Guitar skills and practice

Wednesday: Theory and practice

Thursday: History and practice

Fridays: Guitar skills and practice

My policy for late work is:

All assignments will be posted at the beginning of the week to Canvas. Anything that requires submission will have until Friday to complete (one week). After that point, each day late an assignment is submitted, you will be docked 10% from that grade. I will endeavor not to assign more than 3 submission assignments a week. 

I update grades every week (usually Saturday mornings) so don't ask if I have put your grade in during the week. I use ONLY Skyward for grades. Don't try to find your grades on Canvas. They aren't there.

If you ever need anything during the week, please come down to my classroom or email me.
