Course Description :
This is the second course in the Algebra sequence, which serves to formalize and extend the mathematics that students learned in previous math courses. Students will extend their understanding of linear and exponential relationships by contrasting them with each other and by applying linear models to data that exhibit a linear trend. Students will also learn how to compare quantitative data sets using different measures of center and spread. Earning credit in Algebra I-A is a graduation requirement.

Grading Policy and Scale

Assessments that demonstrate your individual mastery of learning targets within the course will be 85% of your grade. Participation makes up the remaining 15% of your grade and includes Homework and Classwork.
