Summary of Findings

After looking over our data today we determined that a fire needs the following three things

1. fuel

2. source of oxygen

3. source of heat

For each of the situations where the fires are being controlled, explain which need is being taken away.

Example:

You are working in the  lab and your clothes catch on fire. Your partner throws the fire blanket around you and you roll on the floor, putting out the fire.

Answer

In this case you cut out the fire's source of oxygen. The fire blanket prevents the oxygen around you from feeding the flames so the fire can no longer go on.
