25-26 Tri2 AP MACROECONOMICS

AP Macroeconomics is a college-level course that introduces students to the principles that apply to an economic system as a whole.  The course places particular emphasis on the study of national income and price-level determination.  It also develops students' familiarity with economic performance measures, the financial sector, stabilization policies, economic growth, and international economics.  Students learn to use graphs, charts, and data to analyze, describe, and explain economic concepts.

College Course Equivalent
AP Macroeconomics is equivalent to a one-semester introductory college course in economics.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for AP Microeconomics. Students should be able to read a college-level textbook and possess basic mathematics and graphing skills.

DECA CLUB

Mission:  DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Career and Technical Student Organizations are encouraged and required for every Career and Technical Education (CTE) class in the state of Washington.  Therefore, every student is requested to join the DECA club.  DECA is the Business & Marketing club that helps students experience business and marketing.  Members compete in 'simulation' events where they use what they learned in Marketing class to solve a real world problem.  This year we will be travelling to Atlanta, GA to compete against International DECA students.  We are encouraging everyone to participate with this goal in mind.

Come as often as you can, we love to have students from every interest...so, we try our best to make everyone welcome. Please speak to Ms. Crow or Ms. Beltran with any questions.
