Shoulder and Upper Extremity Notecards

You will be making notecards for all of the bones. You may make as many as you would like for the rib cage and spine, but you must make AT LEAST 6: (1) Clavicle, (2) Scapula - Anterior , (3) Scapula - Posterior, (4) Humerus, (5) Ulna, (6) Radius. All notecards MUST be hand drawn, by YOU. You may trace them, but you cannot just copy pictures from the internet. 

Your notecards should include:

  • A drawing of the bone & surrounding bones, with colors indicating what bone you are referring to. 
  • Labels (A,B,C,D, etc. or 1,2,3,4, etc.) 
  • The View 
  • The name of the bone, labels and bone/landmark name on the back of the notecards.

Bones/Landmarks that MUST be on your notecards: 

  1. Clavicle 
  2. Scapula - Anterior 
    1. Glenoid Fossa 
    2. Coracoid Process 
    3. Medial Border *can go on anterior or posterior view 
    4. Lateral Border  *can go on anterior or posterior view 
  3. Scapula - Posterior 
    1. Acromion Process 
    2. Spine of Scapula 
    3. Superior Angle *can go on anterior or posterior view 
    4. Interior Angle *can go on anterior or posterior view 
  4. Humerus 
    1. Head 
    2. Shaft 
    3. Medial Epicondyle 
    4. Lateral Epicondyle 
    5. Olecranon Process 
  5. Ulna 
    1. Olecranon Process 
    2. Styloid Process 
  6. Radius 
    1. Head of radius 
    2. Styloid Process
