Instructions

Find compound sentences in the text and type them out.  

 

Compound Sentences   =   [sentence 1], and/but/so [sentence 2].

For example,

I have a lot of homework today, and I feel a little bit sick.  -->  Use "and" to give more information.

I have a lot of homework today, but I'm really happy about it.  -->  Shows a difference (a lot of homework = bad, happy = good)

I have a lot of homework today, so I cannot play video games with you tonight. -->  Shows a result (or effect)
