Schedule Changes:

The Counselors will not be taking schedule change requests during the first week of school. If a student has a complete schedule, encourage them to try their schedules out for the first week. We will work on balancing classes during the first week as counts will help us identify which students are actually attending Renton High.

For schedule change request, students will need to submit a schedule change request using this form: https://forms.gle/1Pov8Kfb24Y2ehzU8

(This information will be shared with students via email, but we also encourage you to post and share. Flyer will be sent out soon.)

Schedule changes will only be granted as follows:

• Schedule changes will only be made during the first 10 days of the Trimester. Trimester 1 Schedule Change Request “window” is Wednesday, August 28 – Thursday, September 12. Final day to request a schedule change for Trimester 1 is Thursday, September 12 at 2:30 p.m.
• Counselors cannot change which teacher you have or the order in which you take your classes.
• Most elective classes (and core classes) are full. Therefore, the majority of schedule change requests can only be made based on space capacity or upon teacher and administrator approval.
• Please note that not all schedule change request will be granted.
• Your request must be submitted by Thursday, September 12, 2023 for schedule change consideration.
• When filling out the form, please use complete information (such as your name as documented in Skyward). Otherwise, it would take your counselor longer to process your request or we may simply deny your request.

THE FINAL DAY TO REQUEST A SCHEDULE CHANGE IS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH AT 2:30 P.M.
