10 VISUALS should be colorful and match the details of the story you read...Use them at the appropriate times as you read.

-INCLUDE a minimum of 10 VISUALS as you tell the story-props, pictures, slides...are a few ideas-students have very creative ideas on this so check with friends to brainstorm as well.

Examples:

Some students choose to make neat and colorful drawings and hold them up to the camera as they read. Other students print out a variety of colorful pictures and clipart, cut them out(if needed), and hold them up to the camera as they are needed during the reading.
Other students use platforms such as Screencastify to create slide presentations that include their text and pictures. They present these while also having themselves onscreen in a corner window.
Then they share a link when they submit the video for me to open and watch.
PLEASE SHARE LINKS of videos AND NOT VIDEO FILES! If you share a file, I have to download it, save it and then try to open and play it. Some of these fail to work and they take up a lot of space on my computer.

READING must sound like story-telling with an appropriate tone of voice that convinces me you understand the details.

NO ENGLISH WORDS OR NUMBERS should be read! The story recordings I provided tell you how to say numbers OR look them up!
-pronunciation should be comprehensible to other classmates and reflect that you listened to (and practiced) the story recordings
tone of voice should be that of a storyteller who knows and understands the details they are reading. Your pictures and reading style help listeners to understand the details.
