Course Information

Course Description: Enjoy creating characters, stories, games, designing, or 2D/3D graphics then take game design. You will learn the basics of game making, storytelling, character design, and 2D/3D graphics and animation. You will be introduced to basic terminology, concepts, principles of animation, and game design. Use current software and hardware to create your own character, level, and mini game. You will develop your art and technical skills in this class.

Grading Policy:

Components that are used to determine students’ grades. (Subject to Change)

Late Work: I have planned this course to help you cover the content within the trimester so the assignment due dates are to help you stay on track. That being said life happens and sometimes you need to adjust your schedule so I will accept late work with no penalties for the first half of the trimester by January 29th at 11:59pm and for the last half of the trimester by March 12th at 11:59pm. If you are starting to fall behind I will check in with you to see how I can help and if that is not enough then I may involve your guardian to help.
