Overview: Over the next two weeks, we will be studying and analyzing FOUR different short stories from Kate Chopin's body of work.

3. "A Respectable Woman"
4. "Desiree's Baby"

**Before we begin our analysis of these short stories, we will first spend some time learning about Kate Chopin and her life, the Victorian Era, as well as reviewing some basic literary terminology.
