Time Expectations

This is an Advanced Placement, college level class, so there are high expectations for every student.  The main projects (due every week) usually take around 4 hours to complete.  Sometimes a plan comes together more quickly...and sometimes it takes more time.  However, depending on your interest and skill, the students who score highest often put in more than 4 hours of work on each project.  I suggest you use class time to complete these projects.  The top students spent many hours working on their projects.  Although the college board process is not supposed to be a competition, it is human nature to compare.  Therefore, you should know that the people who grade projects at college board will unintentionally compare your work to others.  We will work on understanding what the College Board is looking for, and will critique each other's work in order to produce your best work.  

Turning in Work

When you turn in work, you will:

• submit your written evaluation in word (.dox) on Canvas under the assignment you should include pictures on the word document.
• find the appropriate google slides and add your own slide with your name and 2 images of your piece

This will all be due by 7:00am on the appropriate due date.

Late Work

I understand that we can't always plan our lives out, and unexpected things pop up that can derail our plans.  However, this is a college level class, and there is ample time in class to get most work done...if you are organized.  Also, because it is a college level class I am not supposed to accept late work.  If something comes up to derail your work...please let me know.   

**Note:  Turning in an incomplete project is better than not turning in anything.
