What we did Friday March 10th

If you missed class, be sure to download the PowerPoint and review the intro information about the Arctic Circle Council. Then, start your research on your country to prepare for the simulation.

Today we started off by learning about the Arctic Circle Council including what it is, its purpose, and its priorities. Then, Ms. M gave students a schedule for what the rest of the trimester will look like- including topics for each day, deadlines for assignments, and recommendations for how to stay on track. The rest of class was worktime, and students had the opportunity to provide course feedback.

Reminders

Late work deadline: Friday March 10th
- Industrial Rev. late work due for up to 60% credit
- Assignments from the Brazil simulation forward due for up to 100% credit
- This is the last late work deadline of the tri. No assignments will be taken after this date unless they are due after March 10th
Final is the Arctic Circle Council Simulation on the 16th or 17th (whatever day your final is scheduled for)

Today we started off by watching a Vox video about borders in the Arctic, and answered 2 questions about it. Then Ms. M told students how to divide up Section2 between group members. The rest of class was spent researching your country + their priorities.
