Today we started with a map analysis warm-up before taking brief notes on colonialism. After that we watched this crash course video. Then we took notes on the Berlin Conference and the Scramble for Africa. Then we did Part 1 of the Primary Source Analysis activity.

Today we started with a political cartoon analysis. In the next part of class, we took 2 slides of notes, watched this TedEd video about the Congo Free State, and looked at images from the Congo Free State. We ended class by re-examining the political cartoon from the beginning of class, and finishing the primary source analysis activity (Part 2).
