Summer Legal Law Institute (all grades) - Apply by April 5th!

Program overview:

The Summer Legal Institute (SLI) is JTB’s main program for youth. It’s a five-day program that immerses high school students from across the country in the legal field.

The goal of SLI is to help students develop important skills they will need for high school, college, and law school. Participants take part in interactive sessions that improve skills like reading, writing, critical thinking, professional behavior, financial literacy, and public speaking. The program is designed to inspire students from diverse backgrounds to pursue advanced degrees and careers in law.

A key part of SLI is the learning experience created by attorney volunteers from law firms and corporations. These professionals work closely with students, sharing their knowledge and experiences in a personal and meaningful way. The program also gives law firms and corporations the chance to come together and support the next generation of future leaders. Sponsorships ensure that the program is completely free for students who are accepted.
