About Seattle Accounting Career Awareness Program:
The Accounting Career Awareness Program is designed to help students of color who are underrepresented in accounting and business. This program provides mentorship and a summer Residency Week, offering educational and personal development opportunities to help participants advance in their careers while promoting diversity in the accounting field.
Eligibility:
- If you're interested in accounting and business, enrolled in high school in Washington, and will be a sophomore, junior, or senior next year, our summer Residency Week program is for you!
- Our mission is to promote diversity in accounting, so we prioritize applicants from underrepresented backgrounds in the field.
- Admission to Residency Week is selective and competitive. Be sure to put thought and care into your written short essay responses.

- All accepted students and their parent or legal guardian will need to sign:
- A student code of conduct form
- A release of liability
- An emergency medical treatment release form
