Youth Traffic Court - Community Service Hour Opportunity (All grade levels)

What does it mean to volunteer with Youth Traffic Court?

You sit in on a traffic case as a jury member. You listen to the case and help implement restorative practices.

Where does this take place?

Renton Municipal Court - 1055 S Grady Way # 3, Renton, WA 98057

What more do I need to know?

  • The Renton Youth Traffic Court Team gets to hear real cases and make real decisions about how cases involving teen drivers should be resolved.  Your decisions matter. You play an important role in the justice system.
  • Team members often use their service time towards school community service hours.
  • You would get the chance to take on leadership roles to help your next steps after high school.
  • There is no minimum attendance requirement. We meet only once a month (on the second Wednesday of each month at 3 p.m. at Renton Municipal Court).
