Course Descriptions

Algebra 2A is the first trimester of the second-year algebra, college track course at Hazen High School.  It is also the minimum required math course for acceptance into Washington universities. 

We build upon the concepts studied in Algebra 1A and 1B.  Major topics include:

• An Introduction to Functions
• Quadratic Functions
• Polynomial Functions

  • Cell Phone Policy and Attendance

    When you, students, enter my classroom, you will put your phone into silent mode and then put it in a pocket with your assigned number for ATTENDANCE. Mathematic is not a spectator sport. To learn math, you need to do math. If you don’t put your phone in the pocket, you will be marked absent. Your guardians are welcome to contact me, hannah.kim1@rentonschools.us to discuss about this.
