Attendance:
I have to take attendance every day! This is state law! Make sure that you are here at the beginning of class. If you think I made a mistake, let me know and I will fix it.
If we go remote, I will have to take attendance by Zoom or by an attendance question I will post each day.
Late/Missing Work:
Due to many unforeseen circumstances I will accept late work, however, assignments still have due dates. Please do your best to complete assignments on time so that you don't fall behind! If work is turned in late, I will do my best to grade and enter in a timely manner but may not be immediately.
Grading Scale:
Due to remote/online learning, there is a modified grading scale. To pass the class (earn credit) you need a 40%. All assignments are graded using a scale of 0-5 points.
0= did not turn the assignment in and it's missing.
1= shows little understanding of the material, did not meet the standard or did not follow directions.
2= understanding the foundational material, still working to master concepts and skills.
3= demonstrates proficiency of the material.
