Course Information
Course Description
This course focuses on the understanding between organisms and their environment, using field techniques to obtain data in a variety of situations. This course provides a background into fundamental concepts such as: population ecology, biodiversity, sustainability, environmental justice, land use, and natural resource management.
Grading Policy (late work, etc)
I will periodically collect student work and provide feedback. However, I will not be grading nor reviewing every single assignment done in or outside of class. Regardless of a grade, it is highly suggested that you redo any work that you are still struggling with to better your understanding of the content. There will be formal assessments throughout the quarter and retakes may be offered.
Cellphone, headphones, and hall pass policy
Don't abuse it. And then you won't lose it.
