Course Information

Course Description

This course covers content in, life, science, as well as engineering. Content will be analyzed using real-life phenomenon and designing explanations and solutions to complex problems using data, computer simulations and models. This is an lab-based course.

Grading Policy (late work, etc)

The due dates for assignments are the best way for you to pace yourself and to stay on top of class.  You will NOT have homework if the work is complete in class. 

You will be given assignments graded and ungraded.  Graded assignments will checked either for mostly accuracy however, some will be graded on completion.  Assessments (tests and quizzes) will be graded with the same weight as assignments.    

Completing things in a timely manner, will avoid having any assignments to complete over the weekends and holidays.

Cellphone, headphones, Chromebook and hall pass policy

Don't abuse it.  And then you won't lose it.  In other words, don't use while I am talking to you and when you are working in a group.  Just proper etiquette and respect for those around you.   Also, BRING CHROMEBOOK CHARGED EVERY DAY

Grading Scale

A = 92-100

A- = 88-91.9

B+ = 84-87.9

B =  80-83.9

B- = 76-79.9

C+ = 72-75.9

C =  68-71.9

C- = 64-67.9

D+ = 60-63.9

D = 50-59.9

F/NC = 49.9 and below
