Class activity: U2L4 Extension Activity (Grammar)

If you would like to try this from home(absent) and do it again for practice, here it is.  On our Unit test I will include grammar/verbs

When we change the perspective of a story (who is telling it), the forms of many of the verbs need to change. We are going to re-tell a shortened version of this week's story, from Daniel's point of view. That means that instead of the sentences telling what he does and they do, they will now say what I do and we do, because Daniel is telling the story. (My friends and I live in Ohio. I study Spanish at school.

Here are some examples in English of the changes we will be making:

Daniel y sus amigos viven en Ohio. ---- Mis amigos y yo vivimos en Ohio.

Daniel estudia español en la escuela. ---- Yo estudio español en la escuela.

Use the dropdown menus to choose the appropriate new verb form in each sentence.

Remember that the YO (I) form of most verbs ends in the letter -o, and the NOSOTROS (we) form ends in -mos.
