Class of 2025 Information

Seniors, please see the information below regarding your graduation and important dates!

Below are the Graduation Requirements: Due by March 28th (except Senior Questionnaire)

  • High School & Beyond Plan: To complete your High School and Beyond Plan, see the steps below:
    • Log into your RSD Portal → Select the “Clever” application → Select “Xello”
    • Select Lessons on the left hand side → Complete all the Core Lesson Grade 9-12. 
  • 20 hours of Community Service:
  • Senior Questionnaire: (Due May 1st) You must complete your Senior Questionnaire located in your Skyward in order for the college/university to receive your final transcript. The scholarships you have accepted and listed in the Questionnaire will be on the Graduation Program.
    • Scholarship Questionnaire (Due May 14th) - your reported scholarships will be listed on the graduation program. You can find the scholarship questionnaire in your Skyward.

SENIOR EXAMS -JUNE 6TH & 9TH

  • On Friday, 6/6, seniors will follow their normal schedule and attend ALL of their classes.  However, during periods 4 and 5 they will have their senior exams. 
  • On  Monday, 6/9, seniors will ONLY attend periods 1, 2, HR and 3.  Instead of periods 4 and 5, they will complete the Clearance process.  (See below for more information.)

SENIOR CLEARANCE - MONDAY, JUNE 9TH

  • This event is REQUIRED for ALL seniors, including Running Start students and students on reduced schedules.
    • Seniors, if you plan on participating in the graduation ceremony, you must attend this event and successfully complete the clearance process.
  • This event will take place after lunch starting in the Hazen Commons and run from 11:45 AM and run to 2:45 PM.
    • Seniors who are waiting for their time can wait outside the commons or wait to return from lunch until their assigned time.
  • To help reduce waiting times and crowds, we are asking that seniors report during their assigned time based on last name.
    • Last Names A-G 11:45PM - 12:45PM
    • Last Names H-M 12:45PM - 1:45PM
    • Last Names N-Z 1:45PM- 2:45PM
  • Once seniors have completed the clearance process, the expectation is that they leave campus for the day.
  • To clear students must:
    • Turn in their Chromebook and Charger (Please make sure that your Chromebook is charged BEFORE you get to school on Monday!)
    • Turn in all library books, textbooks, checked out equipment (i.e. telescopes) and/or pay any related fines.
    • Pay all ASB school fines from this year and previous years. Fines issued after ticket distribution must be cleared by the end of the day, TBD.
      • If they are not, you will NOT participate in the graduation
      • The Kitchen Manager goes home at 1:00 pm. If you DO NOT pay your lunch fines before 1:00 pm on this day YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN GRADUATION.
    • Checkout with their counselor to confirm that they have met ALL graduation requirements.
    • Pick up any medications from our nursing staff.
    • (Optional) Eat cake to celebrate! 

GRADUATION REHEARSAL - JUNE 10TH

  • This is required for ALL seniors who will be participating in the Graduation Ceremony.
    • Seniors, if you plan on participating in the graduation ceremony, you must attend and participate in the rehearsal.
  • Seniors should report to the Auditorium at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, June 11th.
    • No food or drinks can be brought into the Auditorium.
  • From approximately 8:00- 9:15 AM, we will have the last lesson presentations, student speaker, senior slideshow, and rehearsal instructions.
  • Seniors will then move to the Gym for rehearsal at 9:30AM.
  • Our amazing Boosters will be providing a BBQ lunch for our seniors following rehearsal. 
  • All graduation tickets MUST be picked up by 3:00 PM on Tuesday, 6/10. 
  • No graduation tickets will be distributed on Wednesday, 6/11 on Graduation Day.

GRADUATION - JUNE 11TH

  • Seniors do NOT have any classes. 
  • Seniors should NOT be on campus during the school day.
  • No graduation tickets will be distributed on Wednesday, 6/11.
  • Students must report to the student entrance, located behind ShoWare Center, by 10:45 AM. Please be mindful of traffic conditions at that time.
  • Students should not have any belongings with them and will not be allowed to leave any belongings in the locker room area. 
  • Students who bring unallowed items and/or act in a way that is not appropriate during the ceremony, may have their diploma held pending disciplinary action.
  • At the end of the event, students will leave the ceremony from the arena to the main entrance.
  • Students should not wear their graduation gown, hat, or approved regalia until they have completed the security search process.
  • All students will be searched by Hazen security and admin before entering the event center.
  • Door will open to guests at 11:00 AM.
  • The ceremony will begin promptly at 12:00 PM.

  • October 22nd: Jostens will be at Hazen accepting your Cap & Gown orders!
  • October 25th: Senior Meeting #2 - (Auditorium during Homeroom)
  • January 24th: Senior Meeting #3 - (Auditorium during Homeroom)
  • March 3rd: Oliver M. Hazen Award Application goes live. Apply Here!
  • March 26th: Cap & Gown pick-up in the Hazen Commons between 10:30AM - 1:00PM
    • If you missed this date - you can pick up your Cap & Gown with Mr. Nguyen in the Opportunity Center.
  • March 28th:
    • Senior Meeting #4 & Senior Picture
      • Senior Picture is at 10:10AM in the GYM
      • Senior Meeting is at 10:30AM in the Auditorium
    • To participate in Commencement Ceremony:
      • High School & Beyond Plan due
      • Community Service Hours due
  • April 25th: Senior Meeting #5 - (Auditorium during Homeroom)
  • April 28th: Senior Ball tickets go on sale.
  • May 1st:
    • Senior Questionnaire Due (in Skyward)
    • Oliver M. Hazen Award Application Due
    • Student Speaker Applications Due
  • May 10th: Senior Ball/Prom
  • May 14th: Scholarship information deadline for Graduation Program to Mr. Nguyen. (Scholarship Questionnaire located in SKyward)
  • May 15th: Extra Graduation tickets go on sale (you may purchase up to 10 extra tickets. After May 29th you may purchase an additional 10 tickets. Grad tickets will be capped at 20 extra tickets total.)
  • May 28th:
    • Senior Awards Night in the Hazen Auditorium (reference this page for awards that will be given out during this awards night)
    • Commencement tickets will be distributed outside the Main Office during lunch and after school. 
    • Deadline to sign up for the bus to the graduation ceremony.
  • May 30th: Senior Assembly & Gordy Games
  • June 2nd: Chromebook collection opens for Seniors. Chromebooks can be turned in as soon as the student no longer need it for class.
  • June 6th: 
    • Senior Finals - 4th & 5th Period
    • All graduation requirements are due
  • June 9th:
    • Senior Finals - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Period.
    • Senior Clearance in the Hazen Commons 11:20AM - 3:00PM
  • June 10th: Last Lesson & Graduation Rehearsal at 8:00AM in the Hazen Auditorium & Gym. This is mandatory for all seniors who will be participating in the Graduation Ceremony.
  • June 11th: Graduation at the ShoWare Center 
    • Seniors arrive by 10:45AM - Report to the rear entrance
    • Graduation begins at 12:00PM
  • June 12th: Diploma Pick-up!
