College Application and Essay Workshop - Class of 2026! Attend these workshops to prepare for the college application season this Fall! Each workshop will cover the following topics: college application process, college essay, scholarships & financial aid. More workshops to come in August! 

Public Health Camp - Curious about public health & what your local health department does? Join this camp and explore STEAM career paths in healthcare with hands-on learning from public health professionals, participate alongside nurses, research scientists, epidemiologists, health educators, program mangers & more. Open to all young people age 16 and older.

University of Washington - Shades of Purple - Shades of Purple is a one-day student conference for underrepresented minority high school seniors (Class of 2026) in Washington who are interested in applying to the University of Washington as first-year students. This conference was created to encourage students to pursue higher education as well as to give students the opportunity to experience the University of Washington. Students will attend workshops to prepare them for the UW admission process, learn about campus programs, meet admissions staff and much more. Note: Participation is open to all students regardless of race or ethnic background.

College Presentations/Visits - upcoming college presentation/visits will be listed below! This is your opportunity to meet with the admission counselors to learn more about the programs and opportunities the colleges have to offer. If you are attending the presentation during class time, make sure to get a pass from your teacher.

Admission counselors will be reviewing your essays holistically, not for any specific college.
