- Weekly work is paced very carefully and strategically to reduce or eliminate the need for "homework."

- Synchronous Class time or 30-50 minutes of Asynchronous Learning each day will help students pace themselves to avoid feeling overwhelmed or overworked after school hours.

- Class work will be due on the day that it is assigned, however, students may turn in work until Sunday evening midnight of the week that it was assigned without penalty.

- This is a lab-based, experiential learning class. Students must participate in the hands-on portion of this course in one of three ways:

1. Zoom Room Internships--leading in a breakout room under a teacher's leadership
2. Tutoring--working with students or siblings in a 1 - 1 situation
3. Emotional Support Buddy--working with a student who needs to guidance and a positive role model

- There is a Minimum Requirements Module for students who aspire to a D grade, which will allow them to not lose credit in the course.

- Credit will not be given to students who do not participate at a D or higher level.

- Students are not graded on attendance, however, much of the rich content for the course is discussed during class.

- Each day at approximately 3 p.m. the teacher takes Attendance in Skyward. If there is no activity in Canvas for students prior to 3 p.m., student will be marked absent.

Teacher may change previous day's attendance if there is evidence of students working in Canvas on assignments after 3 p.m.
