U5 Past or Present?

Watch this video to see an introduction to past tense verbs in Spanish.

The following are excerpts from the versión alternativa of "Los novios". Using the  video and this document, determine if the selected verbs are in the PRESENT TENSE (happening now) or PAST TENSE (already happened). 

HINT: The verb ENDINGS will tell you if a verb is in the present tense or past tense, so pay special attention to the endings, and compare them to the two charts in the document.

HINT #2: There is a page in the document that I forgot to go over in the video - the last page has some common irregular verbs - at least one of them shows up in this assignment several times!
