Think back to or rewatch Monday's video about the versión alternativa of "Una escuela  en Honduras". In that video, I pointed out that verbs in Spanish take different forms, depending on who does them. (You might know this already, but reminders never hurt!). You can see lots of examples of this in this week's story.

Verbs in Spanish have 2 parts:

  • the stem is the first part of the verb, and it tells you what the action is (study, talk, travel, eat, live, etc)
  • the ending is the last part of the verb, and it indicates who does the action (I, you, she, he, we, they)

Because the ending of the verb shows who does the action, we often don't have to say a name or a pronoun (she, he, we, they) - it's implied!

In this quiz, choose the correct translation of each sentence, making sure to check the ENDING of the verb to let you know who does it. Reminder:

-a or -e = S/HE form

-an or -en = THEY form

-mos = WE form
