You will want to log in each day to do your attendance. This will be in the discussion center of canvas, you will need to answer the question that is being asked by 2pm in order to get credit for your attendance. If you are getting a call home saying you are missing class this is why.
Everything will be open from Monday- Friday so please do all the assignments for the week when you want to do them but do them by Friday by 11:59... if you turn it in on Saturday 12:01am it is late…see the grading policy for this information.

Monday- take vocab quiz on canvas, you cannot re-due this, if you need help log into zoom to get credit for the test

Wednesday- log into zoom for demo we will go over paperwork and watch me cook on zoom until we return to the classroom
Thursday-log into zoom for classwork
Friday- study for your vocab test on Monday
Sundays- your announcements will be posted on canvas read them

Group A: Students with last name starting with A-L. At school Monday and Tuesday
Group B: Students with last name starting with M-Z. At school Wednesday and Thursday
Group C: Students choosing to be fully remote
Mis en place: A French culinary term meaning to put everything in place. It is setting up ingredients and tools for cooking.

Grading Policy (late work, etc)
vocab test at opened on Monday and close Monday night, you cannot re-due these
attendance is open each day and close at 2pm so please go in and do your attendance each class period
all other work/test/quizzes are due on Friday at 11:59
models will be open for two weeks if you are going to do make-up work, make-up work will not be accepted after the module is closed
if you have not done the classwork in canvas you will not be able to cook in class so please keep up with your classwork . You will also need to complete a safety test before you can cook in the kitchen at school.
in order to pass the class you will need to do a minimum of 3 labs
there will be no F's these will be an N/C and an I will be given if per arranged with me.
