Hi class,
As I mentioned in class yesterday I have (virtual) Jury Duty today. I am very interested to see how that process works. At any rate, hopefully my services will not be needed and I can join you in class again tomorrow but today you are going to review valence electrons and ion formation independently. Please feel free to send me any questions you have via email and I will get back to you when I am able.

Either way is fine with me. If you already remember about ions you are welcome to go straight to the survey...but remember this will be on your assessment Friday so it might be worth a few min review. Up to you.
The survey will tell you the answers when you are done. You can retake it if you want to practice but you will earn full credit for attempting the "quiz".
This means you will see a score of 4/9 no matter how many you get correct (and it will be 4/4 in the gradebook). Scroll down to check your work. The practice quiz will be different every time you take it as it will pick different questions.
