Instructions

In this assignment, you will read some sentences and decide if the actions in the stories happen in the present or the past. You will know based on 2 clues: 1) the verb form used in the sentence; and 2) any context clues like "when I was little", "when I was 10 years old", and "now".

Use these verb charts to help you determine which verb form is being used in each sentence - PRESENTE (present) or IMPERFECTO (imperfect/past).

NOTE: Be sure to actually read and think about each story, instead of just mindlessly selecting answers based on verb endings. If there is any part of any story that you don't understand, be sure to ask for clarification! (It is possible to get all the answers right, and still not understand the stories - that's not very helpful in building language skill!)
