Every Monday* (sometimes on other days depending on holiday schedule) you will turn in a project of your choice. During Semester 1, Ms. Crow will give you a topic/theme each week to give you a jumping off point. Students can choose to be inspired by the assigned topic, or can choose to do a piece of their choice. Grades are given based on the rubric discussed in class (see attached and below). The previous Friday, you should make a slide about your assignment....see previous week.
Assignments are due by 7am on the due date. Assignments received after this date will not be accepted.
1) Upload the completed rubric (you can find this document in every assignment) Rubric for Projects.docx
2) Make sure the rubric has at least 2 pictures of your piece (make sure the pictures show different angles or zooms).
3) Bring your piece to class to present
4) Present
5) Help classmates by giving feedback
6) Edit piece
7) Take final photos after editing
Every week, students will present their piece discussing the elements of art and principles of design used, their process, things that the student likes and dislikes about the piece, what they would change.
Classmates are responsible for giving feedback both verbal and written. Here is the feedback form:
