Read pages 117-119 in the blue packet, and answer the guiding questions regarding Article 27 of the 1917 Constitution. You will not be turning in the questions, but you will be responsible for understanding the basic premise of Article 27.

Article 27:

  1. Who owns the land?

  3. Who has the right to regulate all natural resources?

  12. How did Article 27 address the concerns of Zapata and other indigenous leaders? (paragraph 11)
  13. If the government needs to take over some land, what is the process and payment for doing that? (paragraph 12-13)
  14. How could you best summarize Subsection VII.a-f?
